Half-canvassed, which means the chest piece is stitched rather than glued — it moulds to you over the first season and stays moulded. Fused suits cannot do that, and they bubble at the lapel after a few dry cleans.

Loopback rather than brushed fleece — the inside is a loop, not a nap, so it breathes and does not go bobbly. 380 gsm.

Pima cotton — longer staple, so it pills far less than standard cotton and gets softer rather than fuzzier. The neckband is self-fabric rather than rib, which keeps the V from gaping.

240 gsm combed cotton, which is roughly twice the weight of a promotional tee and the reason this one keeps its shape. The collar is ribbed and taped shoulder to shoulder so it does not stretch out.

Pre-shrunk. Take your usual size — it will not shrink into a crop after two washes.
